Groupe Adéquat attended the symposium “Employment for the Over-50s: Taking Action,” organized by the Ministry of Labor.

On the agenda: an overview of the demographic, economic, and societal challenges related to the employment of experienced workers, a focus on women, a review of regional initiatives, and strategies to prevent occupational burnout and promote continued employment.

Our Commitments: Groupe Adéquat reaffirms its commitment to supporting people over 50 in the workplace alongside the Club Landoy – Bayard Group, which has been an indispensable pioneer in this area.

We are convinced that the experience and skills of those over 50 are valuable assets for our company, our clients, and the French economy.

As recruitment experts, we must also facilitate the transfer of knowledge and foster intergenerational connections.

By 2030, 25% of the French workforce will leave the labor market due to aging, and 800,000 positions will need to be filled each year across all sectors.

In 2024, employees over the age of 50 accounted for 13% of our temporary workers and 8% of our permanent staff in France.

Our responsibility: to help them remain in the workforce by offering flexibility, continuing education, skill development and transfer, coaching, and supplemental income.

Together, let’s change attitudes and practices!
