From May 7th to May 11th 2019, an international delegation of 38 employees travelled to Rio to celebrate their victory at the annual Grand Commercial Challenge organized by Groupe Adéquat. These employees from each of the Group’s brands were rewarded for their performance. Another good opportunity for everyone to meet and exchange in an exceptional setting!
A program rich in surprises for the greatest pleasure of our employees.
A look back at this week full of discovery:
Day 1: After a long flight to Brazil, discovery of Copacabana by bike.
After a nice break at the restaurant for lunch, our team headed to the carnival workshops where a very special program awaited them: visit of the workshops, costumes try-outs and music workshop.
To finish the day off properly, dinner took place at Marius’, a restaurant of a renowned bric-a-brac trader in front of Copacabana beach. A restaurant where an unparalleled atmosphere prevails in a setting of nautical pieces and unusual materials from century-old rural estates, where everyone ate divine dishes before enjoying a well-deserved night at the hotel!
Day 2: Starting the day on a schooner, the best way to see the city from another angle! Thanks to the experienced crew, our 38 guests were able to relax and enjoy the sublime view of Rio.
After lunch on board, our guests docked on a small island where a huge villa by the water was waiting for them. Our guests were able to enjoy an afternoon and an evening of relaxation with massages, football field, swimming pool… before returning to the hotel a little late!
Day 3: Touristic morning for our employees who were visited Corcovado and the statue of Christ the Redeemer.
After yet another lunch in a restaurant, our employees then had the opportunity to visit a Favela and one of its nurseries, where they made a donation.
For the evening, a very festive program awaited our employees as it was a disco bus that came to pick up our delegation and take them to the restaurant. After an hour of touring the city and countless mojitos, our team was able to continue the evening with a great meal!
Day 4: To recover from the evening of the previous day gently, the morning was spent on the beautiful beach of Ipanema. After a few hours of relaxation with their feet in the sand, our team gathered to taste one of the local specialities: churascaia.
Set up in the sumptuous setting of the renowned Fogo de Chão, our employees were able to taste pieces of grilled meat cut directly from the plate. Another light meal! 😊
This generous lunch was followed by the ascent of the Sugarloaf Mountain, from which our employees were able to enjoy the view of Rio. But that was just the beginning, helicopters were waiting for them at the top for a flight over Rio!
To stay true to the theme, the evening restaurant offered a Carnival themed meal, animated with musician and dancers!
Day 5: Last day of the trip! Our employees were able to enjoy the beach before leaving for the airport.
